Yes, there is a Cebuano book which includes audio material on CD. It's called Magbinisaya Kita (see www.languagelinks.org/) and can be ordered by emailing the author (a university professor) at the address on that website.

I don't know about "Ginakanin", but "ginikanan" is still a Cebuano word for "parent" used in Cebu- it's not an obsolete word. Related words are pagkaginikanan (parenthood) and gigikanan (origin/starting point). You can also use 'tigulang' (which is a bit like 'old folk').
